These are the core design values I strive for in all of the work I do. Since I was a child, I’ve always aimed to creatively solve problems in the environments I was in to help improve them. This led me to furniture design as a teenager, and with a persistent obsession with Scandinavian chairs, I graduated with a first Honors in Product and Furniture Design.

Being around fellow designers and creative thinkers makes me feel at home - it gives me energy, and I love entering the room with a problem and then leaving it with a solution. I like thinking in broad brush strokes and then getting microscopic to obsess over the details - I’m honest, encouraging, and aim to never have ego in the process - the aim is to always learn and improve from every experience.

“There should be a Ben in every team that builds products. Given a problem to design for Ben will throw the kitchen sink at it and then reduce it to the bits of the proverbial sink you need for that problem. Ben will take the design brief he has and offer back a series of well curated lenses to look at what a solution can be then iterate closely with any range of stakeholders required to Hone it to the pinpoint MVP we all need. Comfortable with the tight timelines of iterative delivery and the more ambiguous discovery projects I've seen Ben deliver on both. If your team doesn't have one I'd suggest it needs a Ben.”

“Since first working with Ben, it has been clear to me that he possesses outstanding talent and potential. His work on the Stencil project has been nothing short of exceptional.”
